I’ve been an athlete and health enthusiast ever since I ran my first marathon in college, and in the past 15 years my diet has evolved in a dramatic way. From omnivore, to vegetarian, to vegan, to whole food plant-based … and finally (instead of just eating a random assortment of whole foods and hoping it all turns out alright) to deliberately building my diet around the best possible whole foods.
